Estee Lauder Lip Gloss Review

Hi there,
If you have been suscribed to my youtube channel you will jolly well know that I have a obsession with lip products! For the past month lip gloss has been my staple item. I have emptied out 5 lipglosses from my makeup bag (TUTTUT!). But my favourite lip gloss has been the Estee Lauder Lip Gloss in 33 Orchid Passion. Since I bought these (almost 4 years ago) the backaging has changed which I am actually pleased about.

Now the Price ranges from £18.00 - £25.00! However DIOR Lipglosses are around that price to! I would definately love them to bring the price down to £15 but I dont think that will happen! The consistency is far better than any MAC lipgloss (not to sticky and not to watery) , it seems to last a while on my lips through drinking and eating.

More onto the colour. The reason I chose this particular colour is because I have never seen any other lipgloss colour like this one. By now you are probably comparing the two pictures and I can assure you that they are the same gloss! This gloss can look slightly pinker or more purple in different lighting (hence why I dont wear it in videos). In person this looks like a purple toned hot pink with slightly vampy-blue tone in it. Although in videos and pictures this can look almost purple.

I would definately reccomend these lipglosses. 9/10. This would definately be a nice lipstick to wear on a wedding day (especially the other colours) but I wouldnt actually recommend them. Reason being is that when there are flashing lights or direct light is hitting this lipgloss the undertones shine through. So on camera the purple-toned hot pink looks purple. Now obviously this may be different for every lipgloss but these wher MY opinions.

What are your favourite lipglosses?

Jemma Kidd i-define Mascara Review

Hello! So a while back I brought the Jemma Kidd i-define mascara. The price ranges from £8.50 - £10.00 which  I think is AMAZING! I have had this mascara for about a month now and I have never stopped wearing it.  Yes, it isn't the most thickening mascara but on the volumising  side it is so good. NEVER have I seen this mascara clump and for this price there is no reason NOT to buy this mascara! I have a problem that Drugstore mascaras are so over priced! This one is the price of a Drugstore mascara and is probably the best mascara in the world!

Thats all I have to say about this mascara 10 out of 10!

MAC Eyeshadows REVIEW

Hello!

If you read my blog and watch me on youtube ( http://www.youtube.com/user/MissGlamour247?feature=mhee ) then you will know I love drugstore makeup!  Now many of you probably think that I dont own any High end Beauty products so I thought through out December I will Review High End Makeup ONLY!!!!

MAC eyeshadows are the best thing to start with so here we go!

A nice neutral colour to start of with is Naked Lunch. This was my very first MAC eyeshadow that I have bought and I have none left anymore :( ! However, in all the time that I did have this eyeshadow I     L.O.V.E.D it so much!   It is just such a natural colour that can be worn all around the year.  In pan in looks slightly pearlescent although once applied and blended it looks matte. But, if you dont blend out Naked Lunch it will look slightly shimmery,

My next neutral eyeshadow is Symmetry. These two eyeshadows look nothing alike apart from they are nudey colours of course! This one is alot matter and darker than Naked Lunch. If you are going for a natural makeup look and want to jazz it up a bit this looks AMAZEBALLS in the crease/socket of the eye.

A more daring eyeshadow is sumptuous olive. I think this eyeshadow really compliments my olive/green eyes whilst still looking amazing on other eye types.  This eyeshadow is slightly shimmery which can just jazz up the colour EVEN more! I have totally fallen in love with this colour and got a tonne of compliments whilst wearing this colour.

Last but not least is Smut. This colour is almost the same colour as my hair ( maybe 2 shades darker?) So I find this slightly tricky to wear ( especially when my hair is down ). Although in the crease and on the outer corner of the eye this eyeshadow just does the job for me. It looks  classy but still casual at the same time.

I hope you liked this long review. Out of 10 I would rate them 9.5. Just because they are just a teeeny weeny bit over priced but then again the colour range, the quality and the blendability ( scientific aint I?) makes up for half of it!

Thanks for reading comment on what your favourite cosmetic brand is!

Revlon Lip Butters Review

Hello,
So the Revlon Lip Butters are definetely something I wanted to try for ages  and yesterday I got the chance to buy some! I got the shade strawberry shortcake because I have never seen a really nice pink mauve colour before!
Of course the colour is influenced by your natural lip colour. On me, it looks really bright pink with a slight mauve tint.

Personally, I don't think these are that moisturising. I wouldn't use this alone as a lip balm but they do moisturise your lips slightly. DO NOT, be fooled when you swatch these lip butters, you will only feel the texture and how moisturising they are!

In superdrug they cost  £7.99 however I have seen these in Poundland before but I havent bought it because I dont like sticky lip products. Since yesterday, I have fallen in love with these and I definetely would re-purchase them. Like all Revlon products, I think these are just slightly over priced, I would happily buy them if they were £6.00 but considering how much I like the colour selection I think it makes up for it!

Thanks again for reading

My Favourite Lip Glosses

Hi guys!, Hope you enjoy this post!
I am madly in love with this lip gloss, which I only just discovered a couple of weeks ago.
Let me first explain that I am on a lip gloss kick lately. I haven’t worn much at all over the past few weeks; it’s all lip gloss, all the time. I think it’s a little more lively, a little more fresh, a little more fun than a solid lipstick.

It’s Revlon Colorburst Lipgloss, and I love it. These are the colors I have: a good, mild pink, a more bronzy gold, and a really pale pink, which comes across as almost clear. I would tell you the names of the colors, but  I can bearly  read the microscopic print on the bottom of lip gloss tubes. But all of the colors are really natural and sheer—you won’t get a big, heavy color that shocks people.
But the formula. Ohhhhh, the formula. I absolutely love it. It’s smooth, not at all sticky or gloopy. It glides on easily, but isn’t too thin. And it stays on for a good amount of time. And also—this is always a consideration with drugstore lip products—there’s no odor or taste to it at all. Totally neutral there.

Guess how much this one is? Thirty Pounds!

Same with this one: £29.50. I had one of these and used it all summer (it lasted that long) and I really, really loved it.

But guess what? I love this one just as much.
And I just love it when that happens.

Handy Tips on Starting A Youtube Channel

 Hi Guys
If you read my blog on a regular basis you know I am on youtube. I thought I would share all the tips I have picked up on starting a youtube channel! These are just things that worked for me. Before I go on I just want to say thay your videos will NOT become viral over night and it takes a while for you to gain a fan base.

My first tip is get in touch with other youtube newbies and maybe they will suscribe.
Look at other people that are doing the same genre of videos as you and take some tips from them!
Go on social networking sites like facebook, twitter and instagram and do some free advertising for your youtube channel.
Comment on people videos being nice and the likely hood is they will check you out!
My last tip is upload regularly!

Those were all my tips I hope they work for you!

Hey Guys!
Since I have a plan for what videos Im doing I thought I would do the I <3 Fall TAG on my blog!
I got TAGGED by MissGlamourazzi  to do it so I thought I would do it now and not leave it till Spring!

So here are the questions!

Favourite Fall Lip Product? I have literally been OBSESESED by the Revlon balm stain in Rendezvous! It is the nicest orange colour I have ever seen! I have featured this in my last post if you are interested! Also they only cost £8 for quite a lot of product!

Favourite Fall Nail Polish? I am pretty sure this is everyones fall favourite but mine is Essie's Bahama Mama. It is a lovely rich wine colour which enhances everybodys tan!

Favourite Fall Beverages? Whenever I go to Starbucks I always order a Caramel Hot chocolate. Its Hot and chocolate; who cant love that?

Favourite Fall Scents? I have been enjoying the Yankee Candle in Cinnamon Stick which basicly  smells like Christmas in a jar!

Favourite Fall Fashion Accessory? Scarves are a staple for the English weather. Whilst looking super cute your keeping warm and cozy!

Haunted House, Haunted Hay Ride or Haunted Corn Maze? Halloween isnt as big as it is in America here in England and I have never been on any of the above apart from a Haunted House which I found really exciting ( or at least the 5 year old me did).

Favourite Hallowen Movie? Nightmare Before Christmas is my ultimate favourite! I have to watch it on Christmas Eve otherwise it wont be the same!

Favourite Fall Candy? I dont have a favourite, I LOVE THEM ALL!

Favourite Fall Memory? I was about 6 and it was my first time Trick or Treating with my friends and we had a super fun Halloween Party and I stole some of my friends candy ( sorry Ella!).

What are you dressing up as this Halloween? Me and my friend are going as dead school girls which is fun! I sort of have an idea on the make up! However the lighting doesnt do it justice! I will eb doing a Tutorial on it that will be up on the 7th I think!

Thanks for reading,
I TAG ALL OF YOU!

My opinion on Revlon Balm Stains

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Lip Stain RendezvousHi there! I know this post is late but my internet was not working for some reason or another! On Saturday I went shopping and picked up a Revlon Balm Stain in Rendevous. This is an extremely bright orange that looks absolutely amazing on the lips! Not only is it so moisturising, your lips get stained and you can bearly get it off till the next day! Some people may not like that, but with all the eating we do we need it! These Balm Stains look exactly like a crayon but they apply with enough coverage. Sometimes I use this as a lip liner if I am feeling the need to do something different.

The balm comes in a fun twist-up chubby pencil. I was expecting the balm to be soft and melty but it's quite solid (like a fat lip pencil but with more glide) and doesn't squidge when applied. It's feel neither like a lipstick nor a traditional lip balm, but feels great to use.

There is a very faint minty smell to the balm but it's not noticeable once applied.

The balm feels really comfortable and weightless on the lips. I easily forget I'm wearing it. Unlike many other lip stain products, the colour lasts most of the day without drying the lips out. It is quite moisturising but I would still wear my usual lip balm under or over the balm stain though just for extra smoothing and plumping.

Once the shine of the balm wears off (after eating, drinking, licking etc), the colour still remains faint on my lips, but surprisingly still looks fairly even and not patchy

Laura Mercier Cream Blush *REVIEW*

I

Hiya,I was feeling down today so selfishly I went to the makeup department and bought the laura mercier cream blush in pralines.I have heard a lot of hype around this product and I am really glad I bought it! Its kind of a rose gold, bronzy colour that immediately caught my eye. Personaly I think it works as a lip butter as well as a blush. The staying power is amazing and this is the most excited I have ever got about a blush!

Its the best cream blush I have used even though it does not rival MAC blushcremes long lasting power on the skin. But I rather use this because it is a dream to apply. It does not drag on the skin it is so easy to work with and you can get your blush on and GO! I have used many cream blushes including Becca, Stila, MAC, Nars Multiple, Clinique touch blush, Shiseido color sticks, wet n wild sticks, NYX...I have to say this really rocks. I like the compact, however it gets so dirty so quickly! Still love this, best for the refreshing feeling and soothing non drying quality!

I overall am in love with this and you will be aswell (as cheesy as it sounds).
Byee!!!!!
